FAQ

Chemia Analytics is a Canadian, Vancouver-based laboratory services company, soon to be licensed by Health Canada, to deliver analytical testing to the cannabis industry.

Chemia Analytics provides QA/QC and compliance testing services for licensed producers of cannabis and cannabis products under Health Canada regulations. Chemia Analytics also provides in-process testing services to help cultivators and processors optimize their processes.

For QA/QC and compliance testing, any company holding a valid Health Canada cultivation or micro-cultivation, or processing licence can send us their sample. In addition to that, any dispensary representative, independent patient, and anyone else who wants to learn the chemistry and composition of their cannabis products can send samples for testing.

We analyze raw cannabis, cannabis extracts and low dose cannabis oils. If you are interested in testing a cannabis product that is not listed above, please contact us.

Chemia Analytics provides the full suite of quality assurance tests that Licensed Producers (LPs) are required to perform by Health Canada regulations before they release their product to consumers. For a detailed list and description of the test services provided by Chemia, please visit “Services” section on the website. For pricing and more information, please contact info@chemia.ca.

Our turn around time for the full suite testing is 5 – 7 business days. We offer rush services for all tests except microbial testing.

Yes, Chemia has the capability to issue electronic version of CoA using our state-of-the-art Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). This allows Chemia to efficiently deliver information that a licensed producer needs to take their product to market quickly.

If you are a first-time customer, please contact info@chemia.ca for customer registration. Once you are registered, you will receive detailed instructions on how to submit a testing request electronically and how to send a sample to our facility.

Our job does not end after submitting CoA. Chemia’s highly skilled technical team will help you understand and interpret CoA and analytical testing results of your samples. Also, if you are a recurring customer, Chemia can monitor test results of each batch over time and report observations.
